Gîte / Agrotourism
My name is Stéphane, and I've always had a passion for nature and animals. A Frenchman in my fifties, I recently made a life-changing decision to leave everything behind and move to Portugal to mix what's closest to my heart, receiving and sharing my love of nature. This decision stemmed from my profound and fascinating discovery of Portuguese culture on previous trips to this beautiful country. But what really captured my attention was the majestic olive grove on the site of this wonderful 20-hectare estate. As soon as I laid eyes on these rows of centuries-old olive trees, I knew I'd never leave.
My objective is clear: I want to create my own olive oil, directly from the olives of this olive grove that has seduced me so much. The prospect of participating in every stage of the process, from harvesting to transformation into top-quality oil, excites me to no end. I look forward to sharing this passion with visitors who have the privilege of staying at my B&B.
Every aspect of this place, from the paths winding through olive and other fruit trees to the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, exudes tranquility and harmony with nature. As an avid conservationist, I'm determined to preserve this delicate balance while providing an authentic and enriching experience for my guests.
But beyond my personal aspirations, what excites me most is the prospect of meeting travelers from all over the world who choose to stay at my B&B. Each person brings with them a unique story, varied experiences and a cultural richness that's just waiting to be shared. I look forward to making connections, exchanging ideas and experiencing unforgettable moments in the company of those who come through the doors of this B&B.
To sum up, the acquisition of this estate represents much more than just a property purchase. For me, it's the start of an exciting adventure, where my passion for nature, my love of animals and my fascination for Portuguese culture come together to create a place where everyone can feel at home, connected to the land and to those who share it.
